Olympus Stylus 100 Wide
The Olympus Stylus 100 Wide is a sleek ultra-compact all-weather fully automatic 35mm camera featuring a nice 28-100mm wide angle zoom lens. It is the only camera in the Stylus line-up that features a zoom lens starting at a wide angle of 28mm. If you want a compact point and shoot camera with a wide zoom, this is a good one to consider. Sample photo and specs below...
LIKES: small, sleek, and weather-resistent casing makes it extremely easy to carry (it truly fits in a pocket); wide angle zoom lens is great for landscape shots; optional remote control; spot metering mode; infinity mode sets focus to infinity making it possible to shoot through windows without any issues.
DISLIKES: while this is a great camera considering the wide angle zoom packed into such a compact camera - any camera this small featuring a zoom lens always means trading off image quality at least a little. This camera did very well as you can see from the sample below, but I did encounter some chromatic aberration (or purple fringing) near the edges when throwing difficult lighting at it.
